The New York City Aquatics Partnership, Inc. is dedicated to developing the potential of young athletes while strengthening the culture of New York City’s competitive aquatic sports including Swimming, Water Polo, and Synchronized Swimming.
NYCAP programs for elementary, middle and high schools kids in the five boroughs create drown proofed, competitive aquatic athletes with futures serving the community in roles as coaches, mentors and lifeguards. Through coaching, lifeguard training programs, competition, clinics and camps, NYCAP will provide a safe, positive atmosphere in which youth learn essential life skills: physical fitness, teamwork and self-empowerment.
NYCAP works directly with local educational institutions and national sports federations in a public-private partnership enabling student-athletes to achieve personal and athletic goals. Additionally, NYCAP will increase aquatic opportunities citywide by advocating for access to services and additional aquatic facilities to meet the needs of the general public.
